The AU Futures is a nationwide lacrosse development program that will make players more well-rounded on the field and off. Girls will receive paramount instruction from some of the nation’s best lacrosse players and coaches that will help increase each athlete’s skill level as well as game IQ.  In addition, through the Futures experience girls will receive invaluable and unique training on how to be more confident, how to increase their leadership capabilities, and how to improve their emotional intelligence/mental toughness both on and off the lacrosse field.  This is a well-rounded development opportunity that will help girls play at the next level.

No, this program is not intended to compete with any high school or club team.  Training received will only enhance their play and skill sets.  It will help to make them a better teammate for their respective high school or club teams.

  • Girls will be grouped by their respective graduation years and put through skill evaluations and game play.
  • AU players will be onsite coaching stations and assisting with the player development
  • Athletes can expect a diverse group of evaluators to offer a fair and unbiased evaluation

Selected participants will only be expected to attend the AU National Summit. There will not be any practices or gatherings before this event.  Selected participants will receive virtual training on confidence and leadership building, but that will be done on the participants own time and not mandatory.

Yes, there is an additional fee for selected participants. Accepted participants will be sent this registration individually.

Regional Event Refund Policy:  All fees are non-refundable, unless you are injured or sick and are unable to participate.  In order to receive a refund, minus $15 processing fee, a doctor's note stating your inability to participate must be received prior to the event.  

 
Summit Refund Policy: $100 of the program fee is non-refundable. No refunds will be given inside of 30 days prior to the event. If you need to withdraw from the event inside of 30 days prior to the event, you will be eligible for a refund of $450 ($550 - $100) with a doctor's note due to injury or illness.

Hotel information will be sent out. All housing is the responsibility of the participant.

Yes, there will be certified Athletic Trainers onsite 24/7.
